Season 3 - Episode 1: According to Gym ft. Rob “Kaiju” Maythorne

Season three has arrived! After a harrowing experience with Maesaris, we've returned to finish off the year with stand-alone rooms. For our first room, Ragamuffin and Thumbolt (aka Bill and Rob) work up a sweat, find a drug dealer, and solve some puzzles in a divided gymnasium!

Our guest this episode is Rob Maythorne, podcaster and founder of the Kaiju network. He hosts both a DnD lore-creation podcast (Loremasters) and a film analysis podcast (The Prestige). So go follow him on twitter!

As always, you can download the full notes for the room below to play along, or run a game yourself!

ETP Live - Up The Game - The Cook and The Theft

This episode is a little different than usual, it’s our first ever live episode! In May this year, Dani and I were invited to run an episode at Up The Game in the Netherlands. The conference was spectacular, and we met a lot of cool people, and went to a lot of cool talks.

This episode features:
Manda Whitney of the Room Escape Divas podcast
Nick Moran of “Time Run” in London, who now run the only official BBC Sherlock escape game “Sherlock: The Game is Now”.
Ethan Rodriguez-Torrent of Escape New Haven
Ken Ferguson from The Logic Escapes Me

We are now on Patreon!
At $1 or more, you’ll get to see our blog posts, and have your name added to the hat from which we name future characters in rooms.
At $5 or more, you’ll also get access to additional episodes. The first is up now, in which I act as detective to solve one of the first murder mysteries ever written, “Murders on the Rue Morgue”.
At higher tiers you also get access to exclusive merchandise, and even having Dani run a room for you personally before it’s released!
